Ladli welcomes volunteers.

At any one time Ladli usually has two or three foreign volunteers. They often come from overseas agencies such as AIESEC and work for 2-3 months. However, Ladli welcomes people to stay for as little or as long as they like. Some have worked for a week, others for a year.

There are many ways for a volunteer to help. For example, you can teach the children English, Art or Crafts; lead them in exercise or dance; or simply play. If you have jewellery or textile experience you can show the children new designs and techniques. Or you can suggest your own way of helping.

 
 

Volunteering with Ladli is simple. We do not charge any fees, nor do we pay any salary. You would be expected to make your own way to Jaipur and, although we can help arrange your accommodation, we do not pay for it. Once in Jaipur we would welcome you, bring you to Ladli, show you around and allow you to choose the kind of work you want to do. Volunteers typically work Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, but this is flexible.

Volunteers at Ladli often rate the experience as one of the best of their lives. They become great friends with the children and thoroughly enjoy their stay - so much so, that they stay in touch or come visit us again.
